Carolyn
Carolyn is the owner of the Mission Beach Travel Centre and she loves to meet visitors to the area and share her local knowledge. She first came to the area as an 18 yr old backpacker herself many years ago and fell in love with the area. She was drawn back here 15 yrs ago and hasn't left since!! Carolyn is extremely active and enjoys living life to the full. Come in for a chat or send an email!

I arrived at Dunk Island for a one week holiday 20 years ago and have stayed in the area ever since!
During this time I have worked at Dunk Island Water Sports, Raging Thunder as a Raft Guide on the beautiful Tully River and Hinchinbrook Island Seven Day Sea Kayak Tours. I eventually owned and operated my own Adventure Tour company in Mission Beach for many years.
I love everything about this natural environment and it's village atmosphere. My knowledge of the region is extensive and I love to share my experience and passion for North Queensland with visitors who come to our centre.
Lauren
Lauren is our new trainee. She has spent most of her 16 years growing up in Mission Beach. She was actually conceived on Dunk Island (don't tell anyone though!!)...
Lauren is one of those adventurous, do anything kind girls. She has already done a skydive and is looking forward to her next one.
Lauren has lots of knowledge about our local area and has done a lot of camping and exploring in the region
